Day one
opens with 3 heavyweight same swing
clashes to kickstart the tournament and
follows up with a close set of matched
swings styles during the rest of the day.
This should fuel a large crowd, and
already most of the games look very close
to call. USA may carry a slight edge in
terms of tour rankings in the opening two
games where the RTS and Click only
players battle head to head. The World
team possibly edge the all PS match 3.
Whilst the World team look the favourites
in the mixed swing of match 4, the
RTS/Click clash of Wilson/Russell v
Henry/Short is looking very appealing and
could go down to the wire as could the
final Click/PS game. Early predictions
suggest a 3-3 tie for day one games.

| Day Two -

Day two
is known as the tactical mixed pairs day.
All the pairings and swings styles are
mixed up and the Captains had free reign
to decide on the order of play. The wind
may also play its part on this tougher
day out on the course. USA begin with a
heavyweight pair against tour rookies and
look strong to start well. Match 2 is a
real cracker which seems about as evenly
matched as you can get, and game 3 is no
different, so anticipate a tie from one
or both of these games. Match 4 looks
very unpredictable and may depend on the
form of Klopotoski. After USA edge the
early days play the World look slightly
stronger on the closing games. Overall
you cant look much further than another
3-3 tie on day two.

Day
three and the singles, and now finally
the players are on their own out in a
matchplay battle. Most of the matches
have every chance of going very close
this year, with the pick of the line-ups
containing a battle of the Captains in
match 6, the two top players currently
available on tour in match 2, and
intruiging middle order clickers battle
in matches 7 and 8. I cant even begin to
predict this one but again it has every
chance of going close to a 6-6 tie and
USA would retain the cup. Can the World
team grab the extra half point to deny
them? Its so close that anything can and
probably will happen out there when the
tension mounts.
